HBO brings us into the world of Polygamy with Big Love, its quirky series that focuses on the life of polygamist Bill Henrickson who has three wives, three homes and three sets of kids in Salt Lake City, Utah. The men of Big Love include Bill Paxton as Bill Henrickson, Matt Ross as Albert “Alby” Grant, Harry Dean Stanton as Roman Grant, Douglas Smith as Ben Henrickson, and Shawn Doyle as Joey Henrickson.
Bill Paxton has had a long and fruitful career in Hollywood with more than three decades of film titles to his credit. Most memorable for me was his role as big brother Chet in Weird Science. These days he’s earning award nominations and finding TV fame with his role of polygamist Bill Henrickson on Big Love.
