His claim to fame came from his role in American Pie where he popularized the term “MILF.” Cho also gained popularity for his role as Harold in the Harold and Kumar movies.
British actor Jamie Bamber is currently starring as DS Matt Devlin in Law & Order: UK, but it probably best known for his role as Lee Adama on Battlestar Gallactica. Bamber also had a guest spot on Dollhouse earlier this year.
David Duchovny went from unknown actor to superstardom with his role as Fox Mulder on The X-Files. He’s always seemed to be surrounded by controversy and his latest role as Hank Moody on Showtime’s Californication fits right into that theme. Californication centers around Hanks sex, booze and drug-filled life while he tries to maintain relationships and be a father to his daughter. In real life, Duchovny checked himself into rehab for sex addiction earlier this year after separating from wife Tea Leoni. The two are reportedly back together again.
Jon Foster is making waves playing Zack on the comedy Accidentally On Purpose opposite Jenna Elfman and Grant Show. He’s been working steady in TV and in feature films for the past decade but is just now finding some success with traction. Jon Foster is the younger brother of Ben Foster of Six Feet Under fame.
Ben McKenzie first gained fame on The O.C. as Ryan Atwood, getting himself on many a blog and celeb magazine hottest male celeb lists. These days he’s playing Officer Ben Sherman on the struggling Southland. The show was launched last year on NBC, dropped, and picked up by TNT. It will debut on TNT in January. A bit of trivia about Ben McKenzie: His real last name is Schenkkan, but, believe it or not, a Ben Schenkkan was already listed with the Screen Actors Guild, so he changed it to McKenzie.
Jon Tenney is playing the field these days by appearing in The Closer as Brenda Leigh Johnson’s husband Special Agent Fritz Howard and at the same time playing Dr. Simon Craig, Sally Field’s love interest, on Brothers and Sisters. Tenney studied philosophy and theater at Juilliard and has been a steady force in Hollywood TV since the 80′s. He was once married to Desperate Housewives star Terri Hatcher.
Brando Eaton Shirtless
Brando Eaton just wrapped up his role as Jonah Mitchell, son of Dexter Morgan’s nemesis Arthur Mitchell on Showtime’s Dexter. I’m kinda surprised they didn’t leverage Brando’s body more. For an actor made famous for his ripped body and shirtless and nude scenes in various B movies and network TV guest spots, there was nary a shirtless shot of Eaton on Dexter. He just had a guest role on NCIS this week as well as wrapping up his series season of The Secret Life of An American Teenager where he plays gay teen Griffin.
Carlos Bernard knows a good thing when he finds it. He got his acting start with a role in The Killing Jar in 1997, did some guest spots here and there on various shows, but found a home just 4 years later as Tony Almeida on 24 and has stayed with it for 9 years. There’s some doubt, though, as to whether or not Tony Almeida will be around much longer on 24.
