John Barrowman, best known for his long-running role of Captain Jack Harkness in Torchwood and Doctor Who, joined the cast of Desperate Housewives this month as the sinister Patrick Logan. Barrowman, openly gay, has never been shy about shedding his clothes and we’re hoping for some Barrowman skin in Desperate Housewives.
Few can forget Neil Patrick Harris’s breaking-in role as child prodigy Dr. Doogie Howser M.D. Though Doogie may be what Neil Patrick Harris is best known for, he’s turned that childhood role into a solid acting career on both stage and screen. Harris plays Barney Stinson on How I Met Your Mother these days, to rave reviews. That role got him the gig of hosting the 2009 Emmy Awards this year. Neil Patrick Harris is an openly gay actor, in a long-term relationship with actor David Burtka.
