The White Queen, starting in 1464, is based on women caught up in the protracted conflict for the throne of England.
Aneurin Barnard is a heart throb for sure. That boy next door look! His career has moved pretty quickly getting him better and better roles. He just landed the role of Richard Duke of Gloucester in this new show.
Max Irons is a total Twink for sure. Look at that thin bare chest! And that boyish face! Irons is currently playing King Edward in this new show.
David Oakes has just a touch of hair that if you like it you’ll love it. If not, not much to worry about! No matter how you look at him, he is blazin’ hot. Oakes is playing George Duke of Clarence in this new show.
James Frain has a very different look that seems to be working for him in his acting career. He is best known for his role as Thomas Cromwell in The Tudors. In this new show he is playing Lord Warwick.
Callum Blue definitely stays busy. The London-born actor currently plays Zod on Smallville as well as a role on Sanctuary. He’s also recently been on The Tudors, Dead Like Me and The Secret Diary of a Call Girl.
Henry Cavill is best known as Charles Brandon, Duke of Suffolk, in Showtime’s The Tudors. Cavill, a British actor, had a few roles here and there prior to playing Brandon, but The Tudors gave him his big break. He was Stephanie Meyer’s first choice to play Edward Cullen in Twilight, but buy the time they started filming, Cavill couldn’t pull off the look of a 17-year-old. The role, of course, went to Robert Pattinson.
Jonathan Rhys Meyers had a bit of a rough start in life. His dad took off when he was 3, he spent some time in an Irish orphanage, was expelled from school by the age of 16 and was discovered by a talent scout in a local pool hall. Things have looked up for the Dublin-born Meyers, though, and he’s got a sweet gig playing King Henry VIII on Showtime’s The Tudors.
